(Sound on) The boat journey across the Mediterranean has always been described to me as dangerous and terrifying. By recreating this part of the journey can I allow people to visualise the harsh realities faced by so many? This video has been captioned with Hazems own words.

Hazems account of the boat journey throught the Med was harrowing. Recreating this experience for viewers allows people to visualise the harsh conditions and danger points throughout a refugees journey to find safety.
